>Maheno Shipwreck, Fraser Island BeachThe Maheno Shipwreck on the beach at Fraser Island, Australia. This ship was an Edwardian liner on the Tasman Sea crossing between New Zealand and Australia. It was used as a hospital ship by the New Zealand division of the Royal Navy during World War I. In 1935, it caught by a cyclone while being towed from Melbourne to Japan for scrap metal. It now serve as a landmark on 75 Mile Beach in Fraser Island. (Source)
